2015 Platinum Murano (Canadian) climate control settings read in “C”. How do you change them to read in “F”?

The driver's display does have the Settings option for changing from Celsius to Fahrenheit, so at least you have one reference for the temp in Fahrenheit.

I could not find a reference to Celsius or Fahrenheit in the service manual...
That's a very expensive tool...

The inability to modify simple things appears moronic. In reality, are very complex not from a technical perspective but from the scale of manufacturing globalized consumer-class vehicles. MuranoSL2003 has it right. The head unit is hard programmed for the country in which the vehicle is to be sold. Therefore if you can obtain a head unit from a salvage yard in the US, (check to make sure the speedo is predominately MPH), this should solve your problem.

Just got back from Nissan dealer. Here comes the sad truth.. Open drivers door and take a good
look at the in service date sticker. If it has a maple leaf on it, the car was made for Canada and climate control will be metrics only. No way to CHANGE this to F. I believe even if you try to
change the part, it will still read out metric and changing could possibly do damage to associated
parts. Pin setting and voltage could be different. Nissan US won't even offer an extended warranty
with only 15355mi.
