Does the Murano have a USB port?

I already understand that there is (yet at least) no aftermarket radio adapter for the Murano. Does the factory radio have a USB port? If so, what years? If so, is the feature interchangeable with older Muranos? I'm not comfortable buying a more expensive newer model, but rather a pre-owned $15,000 or less.

I really like my iPod Classic; useful for my music collection, and Podcast. Can not stand radio.

I assume there are aftermarket iPod adapters; hate theme and don't care, I have went through three in my 2005 Accord. Pleas don't mention them to me (iSimple, DICE, ect...), I don't care. Sorry

I'm in the market to replace my Honda with a CUV/SUV, and as silly as it may seam to others, the ability to have a factory USB port or tastefully integrated aftermarket receiver is a big plus. Will the Murano fit?

Jeep Liberty fits double-dins nicely, but I'm scared of their reliability issues.

Welcome to the forum.

Will the Murano fit your criteria? No. Not unless you budge from your no-iPod-adapter mentality or increase your budget.

Starting with the 2009 model year, Muranos have either an "AUX IN" jack, Compact Flash card capability (NAV models), or iPod cable. However, chances of finding a 2009 MO in good condition for $15K are pretty slim.

I, too, rarely listen to the radio in my car. So I installed Nissan's iPod interface and have been enjoying the tunes ever since.

The adapter is easy to install. No cutting, splicing, or assembly required. Just plug an existing connector into the adapter, plug in the iPod cable, mount and ground the adapter, and you are ready to go. The radio and steering buttons control the iPod, which I buried in the rear seat arm rest.

Unless you reconsider the Nissan iPod adapter you will have to remove the Murano from you list of choices in the $15k range.
