Heavy vibrations

So I just bought a 2007 Murano with 165000 miles on it. While driving over about 50mph the steering wheel vibrates pretty bad which I'm thinking could be an alignment issue. But then when turning the wheel right at this speed when getting on the interstate or something of that nature, I hear a vibration in the front right area of the engine bay. The guy I got it from says he thinks it needs a new motor mount but before I go and replace that I just wanted to get some other opinions. Please and thank you.

I had various vibration issues at speed, coupled with an annoying hum (louder than the lowpitched engine sound). The car was in alignment and the tires balanced, eliminating those two possibilities for vibration.

What did it for me was replacing the wheel bearings.

1st item I would check is the brake rotors. 2nd would the wheel bearing hubs. (Normally. bad bearings have a roaring sound and only minor vibration.). 3rd would be bad CV joints (check to see if any of the boots are cracked or missing . 4th would be lower control arms (If they have not changed they are probably bad). If the vehicle has 165,000 miles and the motor mounts have not been replaced they are surely bad but I do not believe that they are the cause of your vibration. Last is the CVT transmission itself.
