How do you use Drive Computer?

On my other vehicles I alway would reset my trip odometer when ever I filled up with gas. I am a little confused on the Murano if I should reset the Drive Computer or just the trip odometer? Is the Drive Computer supposed to track info for individual trips or for the life of the vehicle, like an hour meter?

How do you use yours?

Sorry for the newbie questions.

We do not reset anything but the trip odometer on the left side of the dash. everything else is an accumulation of our ownership history

I clear the drive computer when I fill up with gas and start anew. But I use the Trip computer a bit different. It shows the current mileage and then the A mode I use for the fill up but then I use B for my oil changes. reseting it when the oil/filter gets changed. \

Typically, I just use the trip meter for fill-ups.

When I take posession of a used vehicle, I'll reset the main computer. Just did this driving our new Murano home from out of state. Did the same on my BMW X5 diesel.

That's the only time I ever reset the main driving history in a vehicle, with one exception: Major repair that would lead to a potential gain in fuel economy.
