You replace the entire headlight/wiper stalk assembly with one that includes the fog light ring on the headlight stalk. Remove the plastic steering wheel cover and rotate the steering wheel to each side to access the two screws holding the assembly in place. Reverse using the replacement with the fog light ring.

Have a good day.

All US Murano's trim levels have the wiring for fog lights. Get OEM/OEM style fog lights and install. Wiring is already there, taped to the existing wiring looms on each side. They can actually be installed by just turning the front wheels to access the front of the wheel well liners on each side and moving the liner aside to access the area where the fog lights go.

Get the stalk assembly with the fog light ring, from any 3rd gen Murano and install. Search, I just posted about this with all the info needed.

You have fog lights now.

Have a good day.

Not 100% sure about the 2020, but the 2021 only had foggers for the SL and Platinum trims, the lower trims just had a black plates where the foggers would go. That being said, I would guess that the stock foggers could be installed and that the proper wiring connections are already part of the main wire harness. The only complication you might run into is having to initialize those connections via the BCM or ECU/ECM using Nissan's hardware, meaning you might have to have the Nissan dealership program the new lights to work and to be integrated into the entire system.

It sounds like you're saying the control lever on the left of the steering wheel doesn't even have the dial to control fog lights. If that's true, it sounds like a bigger project with more cost involved. I can't imagine that the lower trims would totally lack the ability to have stock things added in, but who's to say. Maybe to save money Nissan created two different wire harness configurations, making it impossible to have fog lights like the higher trims.

What the electrician told me that the plug for the foglight exist and ready to plug in the fogs, but of i want to operate it i will need to change the lever control with the platinum one that has 2 rotating elements
Hopefully if i buy this spare and install it the fogs will operate smoothly with no issue
