Why hasn't anyone answered this tread? I'm having the same issue. I didn't change any settings.

 

What type of phone are you using?

 

i phone 6 for me.

 

go into on your phone, settings, bluetooth and click on the ! next to your murano and make sure you have the show notifications turned on.

 

Thanks for that tip... It was turned off so I will wait to see if I get any text messages.

 

What do you mean by the Murano calling you phone?

Many times over the last year after starting the vehicle I would start driving and then I would see on the screen that I was making a call. When you leave home at 6am and see that, you sort of freak out wondering how you did it and who were you waking up. usually after anywhere from 30 seconds to 3 min it turns off, but for quite a while in the beginning I had no idea who it was trying to call and then realized one day it was trying to call my cell phone...so all I can conclude at this point is that in making the Bluetooth connection it has to call the device? I also suspect that I am not supposed to see this on my screen either. It can last days and then stop for quite a while then return. Not sure, but I will blame the iphone which seems to have some form of upgrade to the OS every 2 or 3 weeks lately

 

Or maybe the car wants to talk to you...

Not sure if this is the same issue... if I have more than 4 conversations saved on my iPhone. The Murano doesn't read new messages.
If I delete all conversations or leave less than 4. My Murano lets me know when I get new messages and reads them to me if I tell him to...
