Hi,

I'm looking into buying a set of windows deflector/shade. but I want to see what it looks like and the differences between the OEM and the aftermarket one. Does anyone have picture of it?

Thanks,
T.

I'm not sure what Nissan offers in Australia as the OEM accessory side visors, but in the US they are different from what is offered to the Japanese domestic market. The US factory accessory is thermo-formed plastic and held on with double-faced tape mounted to a flange. The JDM visors are cast acrylic, much thicker and IMHO more aerodynamic. They follow the shape of the car and actually look like they belong there. The JDM visors are held on with both metal clips and some double faced tape. The difference (besides being 3X more expensive) is that the flange is more or less hidden, due to the fact it is incorporated into the contour design. Here's a couple of photos of mine to give you an idea. Take care!

Wow...that's pretty steep.. I hope they make some replicas of that somewhere. but I'm wondering how much difference on the look between JDM and the US OEM vent shade. I still would like to see the US OEM vent shades, anyone?

Thanks!

Auto Ventshade Seamless Ventvisor(R) 896002

I end up purchased
Auto Ventshade
Seamless Ventvisor(R)
896002

It looks very sleek! it makes the car looks more sharp and sportier. The gap is not as wide as the original one. I reallly like it a lot. I'll post some pictures next time when the weather is nicer.
