Wondered who if anyone has had any experience with this fault code?

autocode says torque converter with most common issues being the electronics or low / bad quality atf, as car only has 77k miles on it hadnt planned on doing atf yet.

no noises or issues changing gear etc but not driving her till she goes to the workshop to pull the gearbox out

Most folks on this forum would suggest that the CVT fluid be changed early and often.

For that DTC, the service manual recommends doing a line pressure test (for possible mechanical issue) and some simple continuity tests on the CVT unit connector (for possible electrical fault). Unfortunately, for any confirmed malfunction the remedy is always to replace the transmission.

Since you have no apparent driveability issues, I would suggest doing a fluid drain/refill (not a flush), clear the code and see how it goes.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
