Ds feels more powerful because it uses a lower ratio mapping for the CVT and it requires less throttle to get high RPM. You'd get the same acceleration in D if you floor it, except you'd have to wait until the RPMs reached the point that Ds holds it at under normal conditions.

Since the MO SE is a six speed manual (shift tronic) and you have to shift it up and down manually your self. What are the recommended RPMS for ****ting? Is it like a real manual car? Where you’re ok as long as you don’t red line it?

Technically you cannot redline it as the fuel cutoff would kick in to protect the engine.
