I couldn't be happier. I can immediately feel the difference and I like seeing the eye candy that's all around me (lights, chrome, new shapes...).

I think it's great that I had an 03 to feel my way around so that I can take care of the 06 better!

I did the same about 2 weeks ago...

i Traded in my Sliver/Charcoal Mo for a 2006 Midnight Blue/Caffe Latte

I really like the different colors...
and with the new screen and the nav and all, it feels like totally different car!

not sure how i feel about the wipers tho... may have to replace those...

but other than that, i luv my MO!

whats the big difference between the two?

Hi there -

I have the 03 AWD - and now thinking of my next car. Love this one - but I did just replace the bottom half of it - luckily under warranty. Really thinking of just upgrading to the new 06 or 07 - but from the outside - they look totally alike.

What is different with them - and what do you like better?

No offence, but he is going through “placebo effect”. A new car is “always” different, especially if you pay good money. There are only cosmetic differences between 03 and 06. Yes, technology as well – color LCD! ;)

Now what do I like better...

- front grille
- rim design
- chrome accents (side sills, fog light, instrument panel)
- aluminum rear bumper protector
- tan/beige upper half interior
- LCD display (I like the new:)
--- fuel economy meter
--- display settings
--- electronic systems
- rear cam
- MP3 disc support
- console box
- lift gate button
- steering wheel controls backlight
- motorized lumbar support
- gauges with silver background
- armrest with cup holders
- a quieter interior (and doors slams are solid sounding now)

The handling's the same but surrounded by these new "cosmetic" changes only adds to an already awesome ride.

Try to check one out, crunchberry!
