Actually never thought of doing that, always thought of the "key" as an emergency entry method... It would be nice to be able to lock the center console too!

 

There is design flaw here tho; when you take the key part, it gives the valet no loop to hook a tag to.

Almost found this out the hard way. The first time I valet parked my MO I left the key and took the fob. I walked a few blocks to work and was headed thru security when I heard someone yelling behind me. It was the valet who chasing me down because he couldn't start the car, which was blocking all the other cars from getting in! Almost got towed! Guess it helps to read the manual! :headslap:
