It's been a long vacation for Homer. This place is just missing something without him. It's just not the same. Homer if you're out there I'd like you to consider a return. It's like living on a street as a kid and your friend moves away. It's just not the same after that.

Ok I'll join in the chorus

Home get you self back posting. If stubborn old me can do it you sure can. H*ll it's Springtime in the Rockies and Summer in Florida. If you don't do it soon, global warming will have you under water and then it will be too late.

It was also quite different Grip when you were away. I could always count on signing on the board and seeing on the right column the last poster. It used to say on every column, Gripper Don, Gripper Don, Gripper Don. LOL:D
Sadly when you left, it was also not the same. Ditto that when the old familiar Homer Simpson avatar is not on the board.

Homer always did right by me. You never had to worry about what he was thinking. He possessed (and willingly shared) lots of knowledge on a wide variety of subjects.

Right or wrong, he stood by his opinions, and he always will.

I too miss him, but I can almost guarantee he won't be back.

And that my friends, is a shame.

Homer if you're reading this, check out COSI, it's ready to pop.

It's especially sad for us long timers because of the things we have seen Homer go through in real life. His heart and the worst...his Daughter....we even had a member go there for that. I was there in my heart and soul....and I think a LOT of us were. :(

Also his mountains of knowledge on the internal combustion engine from racing and from many many years of taking uber care of all the cars he has had. From the oil to the paint (coating *smiles*), Homer definetly had his opinions and I'll be one to say it was tough to argue with such a vast amount of knowledge and experiance.

Homer, if you are reading this, please getchur butt back here man.

I didn't personally know Homer but everything I read that he wrote was always either very helpful or funny and always clever.

I discovered the Zaino products reading Homer's unconditional and highly documented testimonials.

Based on my own perception of his hard-headed and stubborn personality, I also think that he won't be back, although his decision to quit, contrasts with the merciless fighter character that we learned to appreciate.

I know that I miss reading his posts.

Yeah, a shame really...

I doubt he's reading either.

Speaking of long lost, CPO_Jon still echo's in my mind. I have a hat he sent me, from his ship. And I still can remember him talking about clay bar and Zaino when we were all such Noobs with our '03's...

Believe it or not, I just got my first kit of Zaino products yesterday. A friend did another friend's SRT8 while I watched. That was it, got to have!

Homer, if you happen to read this, at least, PM me, I'd like to say hi!

Actually, on that note, I wonder if he's got his PM's going through email?

Send him one, boys!

Hey Jaak, nice to see you. Always a pleasure when you guys come back for a visit. I think you are correct that Homer isn't reading this.
Hope you are enjoying your not so new anymore ride.

I hope Homer is in good health and high spirits.

I know the odds are against it, but I like to believe he checks in every now and then, and hopefully someone will post something so outrageous that he just has to respond.

What really annoys me about this whole deal is that TexInFla, the forum member who battled with Homer in that fateful thread, never contributed anything significant to this forum and hasn't posted since he got Homer to leave us.

Some people just use forums to stir up Sh*t and try to prove their superior (ahem) intelect. When they are no longer challenged, they move on to another site to stir up more sh*t. I see it all the time.

If you are still out there, Homer, I just want to let you know we are still thinking about you. I hope all is well.

I hope Homer did not leave because of that. I am sure he had better reasons. But whatever the reasons were, I am with you and hope he will soon get back here.

I think that indeed was the reason but the place sure isn't the same without him.:(

Say, I found a listing for Homer and Edna Felknor in North Fort Myers, Florida. If somebody is near by, maybe they can stop in and say howdy and come on back. I won't post the info here, but I do have the address and phone number.

I just wanted to keep this thread alive in the hope that Homer is still perusing this forum.

Hopefully one day he will make a guest appearance or maybe even jump back in with both feet.

Ok, we are all deeply affected by the sudden abandon of our friend. I suggest that we hire the best lawyer and sue him for abandoning us like that. Emotional stress, mental crualty, punitive damages, ...

We probably have a very good case because, after Grip, he must be the oldest fart here! :2:

Sue me?

I'm represented by the most famous legal representatives in the history of the Bar..

Dewey, Cheatum, and Howe Legal Services.

Now I grant that they are retired here in Florida with me, but I believe I can get then to come out of retirement to defend me in this scurrilous case that is completely without merit.
For just a few dollars, and a few coupons over at Honest Jacks Early Bird Buffet, I am sure they will answer the clarion call.

How have you guys been?
