Oh I think if he wants to come back for reals, he will do it. But if not, seems like he is doing quite well as it, which I was glad to hear of.

I'm doing great.
The Murano is doing great also.
She has 45,000 miles and is ready for rear brakes.

The after almost 10K I can say that the Michelin CrossTerrains are superior to the OEM GYs in every way.
Of course they cost more.

I came by to let you guys know that aluminum shields are avail for the gas tanks, mine will be put on Friday.

But I see that you guys already knew that.

Believe it or not.......my dealer called me to tell me!

I still have a couple more years in the Murano but am looking at developments in the auto biz.
Looks like there will be several vehicles to check out when the time comes.
The CX7/9, RDX,Enclave, Veracruz, the new Infinity, Lexus of course, Taurus X, SRX..........
Wow, should keep me busy when the time comes.
I sure would like to get one of the new diesels.

This is still the top board on the Internet.

But I won't becoming back.
Interested, I checked something out.
Do you realize that my stalker friend never posted again on this board after I left????
Not even one time.
NOW, do you see the problem?

But, I could never convince management of this, and I still FIRMLY believe that some people need banning.
But they don't agree and they run the place and I have no bone to pick with them.
And they have run it perfectly well without me and I have done perfectly well without Murano.org

So, try and keep the shiny side up!

(If I see something as potentially important as that aluminum shield, I will be sure, to make sure, that you guys are aware.)

Long, long time ago I learned one thing: never say never!

Glad to see you are well Homer. You very well know that all members of this forum respected you and missed you.
But it is your choice.....hope to "cross" roads with you more often :)

It is a shame that one person has to ruin it for the rest of us. The member in question lurks around several times a week but has not sunk his teeth into anything since that last infamous thread. He is no longer a contributor nor a nuisance, just a lurker. I would be in favor of dumping him from this board.

I hope you will reconsider and become an active member once again. I have learned quite a bit from you, both in the automotive field and with forum etiquette (I now use the IGNORE function to make my forum experience more pleasant).

I miss your knowledge, automotive history, clear explanations, and lively debates. You are most definitely irreplaceable on this forum. We do our best to make do, but it is not the same.

You say this is still the top board on the Internet. That should come as no surprise since you were instrumental in making the board what it is today. Don't give up on it. Don't give up on us.

Homer!! I don't really know you. Just by reputation. I was just starting to be active when you left. You have no idea how good it is to have you back so I can pick you brain for information about my new baby (when I need it).

The one question that has been burning through my mind for the past several months is the color of your Mo. Is it Chardonnay or an after market gold?

Either way it is a beauty.

As I recall, Homer's MO is an '03 and that would make the colour 'Luminous Gold', like mine
