Anyone else having problems with their brakes squeaking? Mine has been doing it for awhile every time I pull out of the garage in the morning. Read the same thing on freshalloy.com but nobody seems to have heard about any fix on this.
No on all three counts, Homer. it does squeal, loudly, when I back out of the driveway. My nearest neighbor is about 1/8 mile away, I'm sure they laugh at the wife and I over a lot of things we do, but I really don't care. I gave up trying to impress everyone around me about 30 yeas ago.hfelknor said:You obviously are deaf, Stu.
Or you have no appreciation for some of these brake squeals that can be heard a full half mile away and announce that you in all your wisdom, purchased a Japanese car with some QUALITY!
Or you don't have a brake SQUEAL, you have brake "squeak".
These things can squeal so loud, the neighbors can hear it inside their houses and laugh at you when they see you......I know.
From my info, the pads are semi-metallic. Maybe your '03 isn't?hfelknor said:I hope you realize that the MOs brakes are not metallic.
Homer
The Murano uses carbon-ceramic brake pads. Its possible there are some metallic components in the friction material.Stu said:

Also, if you look in your owners manual, it clearly states the brakes will "occasionally" make noises like this.
I have the same damn problem i’ll be taking it to my mechanic tomorrow. I will let you know what he says, and if he replies it properly. Honestly, all the money and issues I’ve been experiencing with this Nissan Marano 2012 will never ever ever ever in my entire life by any type of Nissan vehicle and future nonstop issues from transmission brakes everything else one thing unless he goes out, I’ve had seven cars in my lifetime, I’ve had my ups and downs. Nothing competes with shadiness as Nissan does.Anyone else having problems with their brakes squeaking? Mine has been doing it for awhile every time I pull out of the garage in the morning. You responded to a years-old discussion.
