Is there a lower trim model or earlier year murano that has that vent in black or are they all chrome? Although it doesnt sound like too big a deal to pull off and paint.

It's chrome colored on all models 2015+

Did anyone come up with a resolution for the issue discussed in this thread?

I recently purchased a 2018 Gun Metallic Nissan Murano SL two days ago and while driving midday to run an errand, I noticed that my visibility was impaired by the sun reflecting off the silver accent pieces around the AC vents onto the side mirrors as well... How disappointing! This is definitely a design flaw that one would think would have been resolved by now by the manufacturer considering how many years ago this issue was identified... Prior to this purchase, I drove a 2009 Platinum Graphite Murano SL (which I loved, BTW) without any issue as the color of the accents and trim in the interior and on the exterior of the car were black with a body type was designed differently.

I totally agree. I never notice it while I'm driving.

It's more noticeable if your side windows are tinted, but not enough too make me do anything about it. :laugh:

Has never bothered me. Occasionally that hood lip reflection does though.

When I first got my car, the side vent window reflection in my side view mirror really bothered me. It took about 6 months and now I never think about it. Hopefully you'll have the same experience.

Sorry, I never noticed any reflection or issue, just had my front windows tinted and wouldn't have given this any thought if I hadn't read the thread.

Artists use a spray called "dulling spray" to reduce reflections from shiny surfaces.

Anyone still bothered by this might give it a try.
