You should be good.
Hardest part is taking off the radio and the air vents, after that it should be plug and play.
Make sure you disconnect the car battery, not necessary, but better be safe.
Enjoy your new android head, there is so much you can do with it.
Let us know how you like it.

Sweet!!!! Again, the mechanics of disassembly i am good with. Electrical not so much. Cant freaking wait!!!

Looking forward to your outcome. I've been waiting on a successful install from someone with Bose and Navi. Keep us updated.

BoredFish, same setup as mine for my 2016 Murano SL w/ Bose & Nav. The only thing that I am waiting for feedback from the seller is viewing the around view cameras independently. Everything else works great. I'll post a video when I can of what my UI looks like installed especially with Nova Launcher set as default.

Calypsodon, I have Nova launcher too so I would like to see your video.

I found a way to utilize the front and side cameras. Change the cambus settings like in the picture. With ignition on ACC or on put the car in reverse. Long press SOURCE on the steering wheel. The bird eye view will change to the side view. Change to any gear, press source and switch to AVIN you will see the front view, bird view or side view. You can use the AVIN app or the F-cam app any time you want.
If you get a warning symbol you need to connect the cam out with a Y splitter to AUX VIDEO IN AND CAMERA IN.
First long press turns the camera on, second changes to side view and third press turns it off.

Luinoz, thank you... going to try this when I get in the car to record the video. I'm hoping this works and if it does then I will be truly happy with this headunit. I already have a RCA splitter for the inputs connected so I will try to replicate what you've discovered. I also need to order another mini USB to USB adapter to enable connectivity for my rear USB port :D

Not sure if you can receive private messages. Can you email me what you requested from the vendor when your ordered this unit? I want to make sure I don't miss anything. I have the unit in my shopping cart. Email is shunta4life2003@yahoo.com. (don't laugh at the email. Lol)
Chauncy, when ordering just show them a picture of the back of your radio, mention that you need 20 and 40 pin connector for SL and mention that you have Bose speakers. Krist Lu is pretty good with communication and he understands what is required if you give him the model of your car.

I will be sure to update what connectors are needed. Unfortunately, I won't be able to take the current radio out myself. Don't want to pay anyone to do it, until it's time to install. Thanks for your reply.

Here is the video of my unit with Nova Launcher Prime set as the default launcher. Thanks again to Luinoz for the info regarding the cameras.

Looks really good!!!

I could not get Nova Launcher dock to be horizontal, no matter what I did, so I decided to ditch it and use FCC launcher, which is a launcher made specifically for these head unit.

Oh man thats pretty sweet.

So are the stock cameras just feeds a video signal to the head unit with all the processing and stuff done by another system? I always assumed it was the head unit taking in the 4 cameras and compositing everything.

Hi all!

Just registered to say thanks to everyone here for beautiful information source I found in this thread.

And specially for Assad: if you ever have a chance to travel in Moscow - please know you will find a "six-pack" or any you prefer better waiting for you here as well :7:

Last week I finished with C500+ installation to Z52 Rusmake Top (same with 360 around view, headrest LCDs and Bose amp) having 360 view, sonar warning sounds continue working almost same as it was with NissanConnect unit.

This was done by installing additional NanoPLC Canny7 controller with CAN bus interface (www_cannylogic_com/c7/) to monitor ACC state, gear lever, speed, sonar warning state and additional button pressings. According to these conditions Canny sends control messages to ABM module, turns on buzzer and generates "rear shift" signal for headunit to display 360 view.

The original idea was not mine, I only improved it by rewriting Canny7 software from the scratch.

This approach is really works with almost any head unit but requires a bit advanced level of installation skills :)

I've published report on (aeinc_ru/photo/navi4/) but it is in Russian only, sorry...

P.S.: And sorry for broken links: looks like I'm too new here to post something suspicious :)

Check your email. I got a response from the vendor. What he mentioned didn't sound right. Just making sure he doesn't try to get over since I'm a female.

The camera feeds are channeled through the AV Control Unit so you can only view what the unit relays to your screen. Its the same as when it was the stock unit. There may be a way to bypass the AV Control Unit to access the cameras separately but I'm happy with the way its set up now.

Chauncy, I've attached a screen shot of the message I sent and response I got. Apparently they understood because I got the right one.

I just purchased the Dasaita Headunit. Does yours come with a sim card or are you using your smartphone as a wifi Hotspot?
